- Any construction, extension, façade change or change of use needs a building permit from the mayor before work starts.
- The application usually includes a cadastral plan extract, a site plan and the project drawings by an OAI-registered architect, plus an energy performance certificate for a new build or an extension.
- For a building from before 2001, have an asbestos survey done before demolition. For Klimabonus grants, involve an energy adviser before the works.
- Buildings with 3 or more dwellings, offices or shops: ITM (ITM-SST 1500 series) and CGDIS fire-safety requirements apply.
